The Sixth Three Things

There are three qualities that go into shaping and making a person of substance.  These three qualities also happen to be some of the most hirable and desirable skills employers seek.

Three things that make a person
     Commitment
          Sincerity
               Hard work

Commitment
Commitment is the guarantee presented by an individual and it simply states this: “I will see this endeavor to the end.  I will show up, I will put forth effort of mind and body and I will work to ensure success.

Some great synonyms are: pledge, vow, obligation, assurance, guarantee, duty, responsibility

Sincerity
Earnestness – authenticity- candor – honesty

These are the qualities we seek in a sincere person.  I would rather work with and for a sincere person than one who says pleasing words only to get a foot in the door.

Sincerity is a good indicator of an authentic person – no pretense – no flattery.  In sincerity, lies and deceit cannot hide.

Hard Work
What more can I say than what is already said in these pictures.

Hard Work IS …

Occasionally jobs fall into place and blogs write themselves. Usually, however, work and blogs and anything else we put out hands to require the actual digging out process.  This particular post is an example of that.  Short though it is, I had to do a bit of digging and mulling.

I love this picture of the ant rolling a larger-than-life ball up the hill.  Yes, the ball is larger than he, yes, it is uphill, and yes, it is hard work, and he is making it to the top.  That is hard work.
