It May Not Work

I tried my hand once at selling tree trimming.  The guy training me made over $70,000 per year.  It didn't work for me.  I was a flop.

A salesman-type personality cannot sell anything and be a success.  Something has to resonate with him/her for the connection to be made on the inside.

My friend Bob started an auto parts business.  He just couldn't get a jump-start on it.  He went on to be a huge success as an attorney and then a city judge.

Sometimes we have to try a few things that don’t work to know what does, and then throw ourselves fully into that venture.

Happiness Is Not a Sin

You may think this is a silly title for a blog.  However, consider this.

In a recently published book … Top Five Regrets of the Dying, author Bronnie Ware listed this as the number five regret:  “I wish I had let myself be happier.”

Allow me to restate the obvious:

Live in the present.

     Savor every joy.

          Celebrate the small moments.

               Be happy NOW!
