Cycles

Cycles

I’m intrigued by the cycles in life that one goes through.  For nine years, I wrote every day.  Every Day!  I can still write, however, I’m in a cycle where I’m not writing as much as I once did.  Miss it?  Heck yea.

What happened?

Just life.  Since Carolyn’s fall in February I’m off my schedule.  I’m not blaming the fall or placing blame anywhere.  It just is.  My hands are full of other stuff.  My mind and interests are on other issues at the moment.

And I’m okay with all of that.  I’m approaching my ten-year anniversary as a serious writer when all these blogs began.  At the end of the day, this is what I know.

It’s all a cycle.  I’ve had other cycles.  As a kid – riding my bike, the drums, then other forms of music.  I used to collect Frisbees, and baseball cards.

Cycles are useful.  Perhaps I’ve learned from a few of them, perhaps not.

This I know.  Cycles happen.  Life goes on.  No sense in beating one’s self up over what you once did or did not do.

Enjoy each cycle for what It’s worth.

That’s it.

Have a good ride!

Something to think on,
in about 60 seconds.
