Time
and again I’ve turned to the trusty legal pad when in an idea-generating mode. I open my mind and start searching for that
one golden nugget that I know sooner or later will come through, and I write
down every idea – every one.
When
trying to name my imprint - Up-Words – I generated over a hundred words and
word combinations. In less than an hour
I had my name. Remember though, I had to
wade through a lot of junk and a lot of bad ideas.
And
then knowing when you’ve got it – that is instinct.
