No. 1 – Everybody wants to be somebody.
Everybody wants to be regarded and valued by others.
We need validation. We need to know that we matter. That is a basic human need.
No. 2 – Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.
We can’t impress others much with our
superior knowledge until we touch them on a deeper level with genuine care and
concern. Feelings trump knowledge every
time.
