The
Currency of Attention
I
have a bank-full of attention to spend, and I get to make that choice every day
of my life. I choose what to read, how
to spend my money, what to believe, where to go and the list goes on.
And
so do you have this great gift. It’s
called choice.
That’s
why I don’t get too upset if someone close to me doesn’t read my stuff. I’m not for everybody. Seth Godin says something like this … “be
thankful for those who unsubscribe. They
save you the time of chasing them when there is no interest.”
I
do want to be received into the minds and hearts of my fans, however.
