We listen, but do we always hear?
My wife would be poking me in the ribs about now if she was near.  Too many times have I been listening with
half an ear, and when she catches me, I’m embarrassed.
In the book The Go-Giver, Bob
Burg and John David Mann use this line.  A wife is
speaking:
“I
can’t remember ever feeling so … so listened to.  So heard.”
I love that.  Don’t we all?
It’s called Attention ...
                               Respect ...
                                           Engagement ...
I want to be listened to - heard - when conversing.
