Coach

Coach
40 seconds

Some coaches are great – others less so.

John Wooden, famed UCLA basketball coach was renowned in the world of coaching.  For one year everything he said was captured.  His average utterance lasted only four seconds.

These word-bursts were mostly encouragement in nature, and sometimes critical reminders of the correct stance, posture, or simply to put more energy into the process.

Coaches see the good and the bad and address both.

Coaching is not an eloquence contest.  It is about delivering useful information.

A coach is someone with whom you take a journey.  A coach carries you from one point to another – as in a carriage.

If you coach, coach well.

If you learn from a coach, listen and obey.
