Our destiny awaits, and the good news is
we get to decide what it will be.
I tried to be Gene Krupa, but he was
already taken, so I had to learn to be my own kind of drummer.
For a while I emulated my old college
professor’s style of choral conducting, but he was already taken too, so I used
what I learned from him and developed my own style.
The great news of all of this is – you decide
who and what you want to be.
