Pathways
I
got here by following my own path. I’m
in Edmonds, WA., enjoying a lovely Indian Summer Sunday afternoon, and I can
smell something wonderful that Carolyn has baked in our kitchen. This pathway is one I have chosen and I’m
happy on this journey.
I’m
one of ten kids. We all followed
different paths. We’re all happy, and
have led successful and fulfilling lives as far as I can tell. We have commonalities, yet our methods of
reaching these stages in life look differently.
I’m
the only member of my family who still works.
The others are all retired now.
That
is not because I failed at any point in life.
I just took different paths. I’ve
had different experiences.
And
I’m happy.
I’m
not lost.
I’m
happy.
