Giving
Her Best
I
just finished my breakfast at IHOP in Bellevue.
My waitress is probably one of the best I’ve ever had to serve me. She is a small woman, around 50, and she
executes her job in such a no nonsense way.
She’s observant, attentive, and fast.
She knows her regulars, calls them by name, and greets everyone who
comes in.
She
enjoys her job, and it shows.
I
don’t know her name yet, but when I get my ticket, I’ll find out and I’m
writing a letter to IHOP headquarters on her behalf. And I’ll tip a nice tip.
I
like to recognize great work, and she is great at her work.
Now,
for all of us, go and do likewise.
Something to
think on,
in less than
60 seconds.
