What Becomes of Amateurs
I
recently listened to Walter Isaacson’s biography of Leonardo Di Vinci.
I’ve
read The Agony and the Ecstasy by Irving Stone three times. It is the story of Michelangelo.
I’ve
listened to David McCullough’s bio on the Wright Brothers.
All
began as amateurs. And look what they
became.
If
you are in the beginning stages of your talent, remember this.
"Every
artist was
first an amateur"
– Ralph Waldo Emerson
