Virtue
in Rest
Yeah! There is virtue in rest!
I
am a nap taker. Naps have done a lot for
me. Especially after my heart surgery. With a nap, we allow the body to do its
restorative processes.
Stephen
R. Covey said it well in his book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: “Take time to sharpen the saw.”
We
go in for a re-tooling, a refreshing.
I
think a part of the rest is found in taking a retreat on occasion, and
vacations. We need the break that comes
from a rest period.
