Week Before Thanksgiving

week before Thanksgiving, and I’m giving thanks.
I’m
not making a big to-do about it, just reflecting a bit, whispering thank-you.
For
life
For
friendships
For
health that is being restored
For
love of CB like none other
For
grands
For
step-kids
For
siblings
For
work that is meaningful
For
music that swells my soul
For
eyes to see
For
ears to hear
For
God who watches over us.
Yes,
I’m giving thanks a week early. Heck, I actually
do this all the time, and especially this week.
Be
safe as you travel.
Eat
wisely.
Say
the words others long to hear – you know – “You’re not fat.”
That
is all.
Something to
think on,
in less than
60 seconds.
