Thank
You Dale Carnegie
We
went to a party last night. I knew two
people before entering the house. And I remembered
my Dale Carnegie – How to Win Friends and Influence People skills.
Mostly,
I remembered this – “Speak in terms of the other person’s wants and needs.”
I
met an electrician, a safety procedures lady and a fellow drummer. We had good conversations and a good time
overall.
Those
little social skills matter, don’t you think?
We’re
all interested in OUR agenda, OUR lives.
Ah, but consider their position.
To
focus on “them” is a good thing.
Something to
think on,
in less than
60 seconds.
