Wonder … at Christmas
I
wonder … at Christmas.
Some
people get so hung up and apparently offended if they hear “Merry Christmas” as
opposed to “Happy Holidays.”
Yet
these same people will sing and listen to Silent
Night, I Heard the Bells on Christmas
Day and Joy to the World so many
times, and the messages of hope and joy are so much stronger than a simple “Merry
Christmas”.
Do
they know?
Do you know?
Christmas
is a time for wonder and amazement.
The
world, it seems, is captured by Christmas.
We twist and bend, wrap and unwrap it to suit our fancies, and yet, the
best part of the idea of Christmas still gets through.
It
is a time for joy.
It
is a time for hope.
It
is a time for peace.
And
best of all … it is a time for love.
God’s
love for you and me.
Our
gift of love given in return.
Merry
Christmas.
Something to
think on,
in less than
60 seconds.
